Hello there! My name is Melita Ward and I am a native of the fast-growing city of Boiling Springs, South Carolina; located in the beautiful foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
Travel has always been so important in my life, as I began traveling in my first year of life when my parents took me with them deep into the Blue Ridge Mountains and then, all the way to West Palm Beach, Florida within months. My younger brother and I were driven all over the East Coast, as my parents would often take spontaneous day-of trips. My parents loved Florida, but it was my mother and grandmother who especially enjoyed the theme parks there. We traveled to Busch Gardens and Universal as well as other theme parks, but the memories at Disney are especially held dear by my family and I.
Walt Disney World was a huge part of my childhood and when I had my own children, 3 beautiful daughters, I made sure that they got to experience the magic of Disney too. I hold Walt Disney World so close to my heart because it has been a source of joy for generations in my family.
While parks like Disney and Universal are magical, they can also be very stressful to plan because of the amount of things to do on any given day.
I’ve taken countless trips to theme parks with my family and friends and I have enjoyed planning every one of our family vacations. Planning gives me the chance to make sure each of my family members truly gets the most out of their vacation time. So naturally, that passion for planning theme park vacations has carried over into my professional life as I’ve been helping others plan their theme park vacations since 2016 and I look forward to continuing to do so for many years to come.
