How much does a custom luxury Europe trip cost?
Most bespoke European journeys begin around a $15,000 total investment for a couple over 10–12 days and rise with villa stays, private drivers, first-class rail, and top-tier hotels.
How far in advance should I plan?
Nine to twelve months for peak season, Lake Como, the Amalfi Coast, Alpine summer, villas, and Christmas market sailings; six months is workable in shoulder season.
When is the best time to travel in Europe?
Late April to mid-June and mid-September to October almost everywhere. July and August suit the lakes, Alps, and Scandinavia; November and early December are wonderful in Rome, Paris, and the Christmas market cities.
Should we travel by train or private driver?
Usually both. High-speed rail wins between cities; a private driver earns its cost in the countryside, on coastal roads, and with luggage or early departures.
River cruise or land trip?
A river voyage suits unpacking once and seeing many towns; a land itinerary wins for depth in one or two regions. Many clients do a week of each.
